Hello!
This week's music Monday continues to look at some of the world's most interesting and unique instruments. This week we're looking at a Picasso Guitar!
Picasso was the name of an artist who painted mostly in a style called "cubism". Picasso's art is known because it sometimes looks a little bit like "Frankenstein", where bits and pieces of an object or person are attached to each other not normally how we see them in real life.

The Picasso Guitar is named because it looks like people have taken little bits and pieces of an object (just like Picasso's paintings) and stuck them together in a new way. Here is a video of Pat Methany, a famous guitar player, playing the Picasso guitar.
This video below shows a computer animated version of an instrument similar to a Picasso Guitar - because this video is made on the computer, they are able to add even more different instruments together than would be possible in real life.
Happy Listening,
Ms. Dochstader
